Gold farming Furnace Core Goblin drops Dwarf drops Mutant enemies
Best beginner farm

Knife Goblin

Start with Knife Goblins if you are new. They are easier than mutant enemies, they appear in forest routes, and their Goblin Finger drop is useful for early brewing. This is the safest enemy to repeat while learning spell timing and dodge spacing.

Best rare drop farm

Mutant enemies

Mutant Warhammer Dwarf and Mutant Goblin Archer are the high-value targets when you need Furnace Core, Light Shard, Dark Shard, Flame Crest, or Copper Earring. Do not rush them until your wand, potion setup, and movement feel stable.

Boss target

Dwarf King

Dwarf King is the main boss farm to connect this page with the boss guide. Run Dwarf King when you want Gold plus a chance at Flame Crest, Copper Earring, and Furnace Core. Bring enough damage and watch your cooldowns.

All Wizard Alchemy Monsters and Drops

Use this table while farming. Search by enemy name, location, material, shard, or drop chance.

Monster Location Known Drops Best Use Farm Advice
Pickaxe Dwarf Departure Isle — Forest Area Gold 100%, Dwarf Emblem 75%, Golden Tooth 25% Early dwarf materials and safe Gold Good when you want to practice close-range movement without jumping straight into cave or mutant enemies.
Knife Goblin Departure Isle — Forest Area and forest near the beach Gold 100%, Goblin Finger 75%, Goblin Bone 25% Best beginner ingredient loop Farm this enemy first if you need Goblin Finger, basic Gold, or a low-pressure route for learning combat.
Warhammer Dwarf Departure Isle — Beach, Forest Area, Dwarf King Cave Gold 100%, Dwarf Emblem 50%, Golden Tooth 38%, Flame Crest 13% Mid-game dwarf drops and Flame Crest chance Move into Warhammer Dwarf routes when your first wand upgrade and spell rotation make normal goblins feel too easy.
Archer Goblin Departure Isle — Beach, forest near the beach, Dwarf King Cave Gold 100%, Goblin Finger 50%, Goblin Bone 38%, Copper Earring 13% Copper Earring attempts and goblin drops Respect its range. Dash sideways, avoid fighting several archers at once, and use terrain when your health is low.
Mutant Warhammer Dwarf Departure Isle — Mountain near Fugitive Orc NPC Gold 100%, Dark Shard 50%, Light Shard 50%, Flame Crest 43%, Copper Earring 43%, Furnace Core 14% Dark/Light shard route and Furnace Core farming Strong farming target once you have better damage. Bring defensive gear or practice dash timing before repeating this route.
Mutant Goblin Archer Departure Isle — Above Dwarf King Cave near the giant helmet Gold 100%, Dark Shard 50%, Light Shard 50%, Flame Crest 43%, Copper Earring 43%, Furnace Core 14% Elite archer route and rare material farming Dangerous because it combines mutant value with ranged pressure. Fight with space, not panic, and retreat if multiple enemies stack.
Dwarf King Boss Departure Isle — Dwarf King Cave Gold 100%, Flame Crest 43%, Copper Earring 43%, Furnace Core 14% Boss Gold route and late material attempts Use boss runs when you are confident with cooldowns. If the fight feels slow, upgrade your wand or refine your potion plan first.

Drop values can change after updates. Confirm rare materials in-game when a new patch lands.

Which Monster Should You Farm?

Pick your target based on what you need next. Farming the wrong enemy wastes time, inventory space, and potion ingredients.

Need Gold

Any safe enemy

Because the listed enemies all drop Gold, your best Gold farm is usually the strongest enemy you can defeat quickly without dying. Beginners should use Knife Goblin and Pickaxe Dwarf loops. Stronger players can move to Warhammer Dwarf, Archer Goblin, mutant enemies, or Dwarf King.

Need Goblin drops

Knife Goblin first

Farm Knife Goblins for Goblin Finger and Goblin Bone early. If you also want Copper Earring attempts, switch to Archer Goblins once you can handle ranged enemies without losing too much HP.

Need Dwarf drops

Dwarf route

Pickaxe Dwarf is the safer dwarf target, while Warhammer Dwarf adds Flame Crest to the table. Move up only when the fight speed is good enough to make the extra danger worth it.

Need Furnace Core

Mutants or Dwarf King

Furnace Core is a late material target. Farm Mutant Warhammer Dwarf, Mutant Goblin Archer, or Dwarf King when you want the strongest listed material route and are ready for tougher combat.

Recommended Monster Farming Route

This route keeps your progress smooth from your first forest fights to rare material farming.

Start with Knife Goblin and Pickaxe Dwarf

Use these forest targets while learning movement, spell range, and enemy attack timing. You will collect basic Gold, Goblin Finger, Goblin Bone, Dwarf Emblem, and Golden Tooth while avoiding the harder areas too early.

Move toward beach and forest edge enemies

When your spells feel consistent, add Warhammer Dwarves and Archer Goblins. These enemies introduce better material value, especially Flame Crest and Copper Earring chances, but they also punish sloppy movement more than the easiest forest enemies.

Practice cave routes before farming Dwarf King

Dwarf King Cave is a natural step toward boss farming. Learn enemy spacing, watch for ranged pressure, and make sure you can leave fights with enough HP to continue the loop instead of resetting constantly.

Farm mutant enemies for shards and rare materials

Once you have stronger wands, gear, and potions, target Mutant Warhammer Dwarf near the Fugitive Orc NPC and Mutant Goblin Archer above Dwarf King Cave near the giant helmet. These routes are valuable because they combine Dark Shard, Light Shard, Flame Crest, Copper Earring, and Furnace Core attempts.

Use Dwarf King runs for boss-focused farming

If you are comfortable with the boss fight, rotate Dwarf King attempts for Gold, Flame Crest, Copper Earring, and Furnace Core. If the fight takes too long, go back to wands, potions, and controls before forcing inefficient boss runs.

Monster Drops Explained

These drops matter because they connect directly into potion brewing, gear upgrades, and stronger combat routes.

Early brewing

Goblin Finger and Dwarf Emblem

Early monster materials are important because they help you brew more often without relying only on map resources. Goblin Finger is especially useful for new players because Knife Goblins are simple to farm and appear in safe routes.

Mid material value

Golden Tooth, Flame Crest, Copper Earring

These materials are the bridge between beginner farming and higher Magic plans. Copper Earring and Flame Crest are especially useful when you want better potion results without jumping straight into the most difficult enemies every run.

Late target

Furnace Core

Furnace Core is one of the highest-value material goals. Because its listed chance is lower and the enemies that drop it are tougher, treat Furnace Core farming as a planned route instead of something you attempt before your build is ready.

Element planning

Light Shard and Dark Shard

Mutant enemies are currently the main monster route for Light and Dark shard farming. If your potion plan needs a specific element, track shard drops separately from normal material drops so you do not sell or waste them by mistake.

Gold

Every listed enemy helps

Gold is useful for wands and gear. The most efficient Gold farm is not always the highest-level enemy; it is the enemy you can defeat quickly, safely, and repeatedly. A fast safe loop can beat a slow dangerous loop.

Inventory

Sell extras carefully

If your bag fills with low-value duplicates, sell extras only after checking your next potion goal. Keep rare drops, shards, and materials needed for upcoming recipes before turning duplicates into Gold.

Monster Combat Tips

Better movement often saves more time than a small stat upgrade.

Use a simple fight loop

Move into range, cast your best spell, dash away from danger, reposition, and cast again. If you get hit every time you attack, slow down and practice the timing before moving to stronger enemies. Wizard Alchemy farming rewards consistency more than rushing.

Do not overfarm enemies you barely beat

If a monster nearly kills you every run, it may be too early for that route. Upgrade your wand, equip more HP gear, refine your potion plan, or learn the controls before trying to force rare drops.

Controls

Dash sideways

Use dash to escape attack lines instead of dashing straight backward into another enemy. This matters most against Archer Goblins and mutant ranged pressure.

Target choice

Fight one at a time

Pull a single monster when possible. Fighting two archers, a dwarf, and a mutant at the same time can turn a good route into a reset.

Progression

Upgrade between routes

If your farming speed stalls, compare your wand, robe, hat, race, and potions. A small build improvement can make the next monster route much safer.

Wizard Alchemy Monsters FAQ

Fast answers for enemy locations, drops, rare materials, and farming choices.

What is the best beginner monster to farm?

Knife Goblin is the easiest recommendation for most new players because it is simple to fight and can drop Goblin Finger. Pickaxe Dwarf is also a good early target if you need dwarf materials and safe Gold.

Do all monsters drop Gold?

Current public drop lists show every known Wizard Alchemy monster dropping Gold with a 100% chance. The real question is which enemy you can defeat fastest without wasting HP or travel time.

Which monsters drop Furnace Core?

Furnace Core can drop from Mutant Warhammer Dwarf, Mutant Goblin Archer, and Dwarf King. Because the listed chance is 14%, expect repeated runs and make sure your build can handle the route efficiently.

Where do I find Mutant Warhammer Dwarf?

Mutant Warhammer Dwarf is listed near the mountain area by the Fugitive Orc NPC on Departure Isle. This is not a beginner target, so bring a stronger wand, defensive gear, and a clean spell rotation.

Where do I find Mutant Goblin Archer?

Mutant Goblin Archer is listed above Dwarf King Cave near the giant helmet landmark. Because it is a ranged mutant enemy, keep enough space to dodge and do not let multiple enemies stack on you.

Where is the Dwarf King boss?

Dwarf King is found in Dwarf King Cave on Departure Isle. Use Dwarf King runs when you want boss drops, but only farm the boss repeatedly if the fight is fast enough to be worth the time.

Which monster is best for Copper Earring?

Archer Goblin has a lower listed Copper Earring chance, while mutant enemies and Dwarf King have higher listed Copper Earring chances. Beginners can start with Archer Goblin, while stronger players should consider mutant or boss routes.

Should I farm mutants before upgrading my wand?

Usually no. Mutants are more efficient only if you can defeat them safely and quickly. If they take too long, upgrade your wand, practice controls, and improve your potion setup first.
